Customer Rating:      Summary: My Time Is Worth The Money Comment: This is the first replacement I had to purchase for my Roomba Discovery. I have had the Roomba since Christmas 2006 which was a good two years of running the Roomba 5-6 days a week. I recently acquired (2) Dogs, Rott & Lab so the Roomba has been working over time picking up the hair before the battery life started to wane. I did try re setting and that gave me some shelf life, but alas it was time for a new battery- well worth the money!
Customer Rating:      Summary: IRobot 400 series battery. Comment: After the original battery could not be recharged I ordered a new one from Amazon. It lasted less then three months and I can not recharge it. I have gone through all of the discharging / recharging steps recommended by IRobot without success. Further inspection indicates the pack was remanufactured and probably has a bad cell. Stick with new from IRobot.

Customer Rating:      Summary: Brought new life to my Roomba Discovery Comment: After having my roomba for about 2 years, the battery got to the point where it only lasted about 10 minutes per charge. After trying the method by another reviewer to extend its life (a method which, for me, didn't do anything), I decided to fork out the money to buy a new one.
I couldn't be happier with my decision. Since replacing the battery, it's like I have a brand new roomba again. Rather than 10 minutes, it can go a few hours at a time before it gives up and goes to its dock for a recharge.
Customer Rating:      Summary: Roomba Battery is worthless, It only last about a year or more Comment: The battery is horriable on the Roomba. I have a hard time believing that they can't fix this problem. I bought my Roomba at Hammacher. I wish that everybody that is looking at this message bought their's at Hammacher. Hammacher has a life time guarantee. Everytime my battery goes dead, I send my Roomba back to Hammacher and get a new Roomba. In the past 4 or 5 years, I have send four Roomba back and had them replaced. I've actually upgraded my Roomba everytime to the last and greatest Roomba that they have. I currently own the Roomba Scheduler. And despite the problems with the battery,I love my Roomba, but do hate the battery. It beginning to appear that my battery is dead again, time for another Roomba upgrade.
